• Mortgage Spaces: Instead of just mortgaging properties like in traditional Monopoly, this version has two dedicated Mortgage Spaces – one called “The Jerry Zone” which represents Jerry’s incompetence in managing money; if you land on this space while passing GO or rolling doubles three times in a row (which sends you directly to Jail), you can choose any property not owned by another player to mortgage for half its value. The other mortgage space is called “The Multiverse” where you can pay $1000 instead of $500 when mortgaging properties.
• Rick Roll Spaces: These spaces replace traditional Railroads in this version. If you land on one of these spaces while passing GO or rolling doubles three times in a row (which sends you directly to Jail), you get to roll again for free.
• Rick House & Hotel Upgrades: Instead of using traditional houses and hotels for property upgrades in this version, players use Blips & Chitz tokens – small blue aliens representing characters from Rick’s favorite arcade hangout spot. When upgrading properties into houses or hotels using these tokens, players have two options: (1) “Rent Inflation” – add $100 per house/$200 per hotel onto your rent prices; or (2) “Royale With Cheese” – if another player lands on your upgraded property but cannot afford to pay rent immediately, they can give you any number of their own properties as payment instead.
