‘From Blood and Ash (Blood And Ash Series)’ is the book that ruined all other books for me. Seriously though, how am I supposed to read anything else after experiencing this masterpiece? JLA’s writing pulled me in from the very first page and didn’t let go until the very end (and even then I was left wanting more). The world-building was incredible – I felt like I was right there with Poppy in every scene.
This book gave me ALL THE FEELS! There were moments where I was laughing out loud, others where I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation, and let’s not forget about those heart-wrenching scenes that had me reaching for tissues. It takes a special kind of author to make readers feel such a range of emotions in one story – but JLA did just that.
