Me, Joe, and Terry recently got our hands on the Magic The Gathering Commander Masters Draft Booster Box and we were blown away! This is the first Masters set designed specifically for Commander, which is perfect because it’s our favorite format. We were excited to see what reprints were included in these super-charged packs. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The FIRST MASTERS SET FOR COMMANDER has definitely set the bar high for future sets.
We decided to have a draft party with this box and we had an absolute blast. Each of us grabbed 3 Draft Boosters, passed them around, and picked 2 cards at a time. The best part was building our 60-card decks with the cards we drafted and then battling it out in epic multiplayer games. It was so much fun to see what kind of decks we could come up with using the DRAFT A COMMANDER DECK feature.
One of my favorite parts about these boosters is that each one contains 3 nonfoil Legendary cards and has the possibility of a Traditional Foil Legendary card as well. I was lucky enough to get a foil Urza, Lord High Artificer in one of my packs and I couldn’t believe it! Plus, every Commander Masters Draft Booster has multiple rares in them, including at least 1 Rare or Mythic Rare Legendary card. That’s insane! And don’t even get me started on the foils – there’s one in every single pack! With 24 packs in this box, that means you get 24 foils! How cool is that?
